Welcome to the official website of Cameron McIntyre - The Poetic Plumber. Cameron has been become one of the most prolific writers in the Lower Ards & North Down area of Northern Ireland, and has just had his sixth publication released ' A Plumber's Pipedream'. His intention for his work, which follows the strict form, is to make poetry popular again and to speak to the 'man in the street'.

He has been honoured by the International Poets Society in 1996, had his work not only published in book form but on a bus, and hosted a very exciting poetry competition in the Primary Schools of Northern Ireland in October 2008 alongside Ald Jim Shannon MLA at Parliament Buildings Stormont. Out of which 'Primary Poetry for All' and anthology of the children's work will be released in the Autumn of 2009.

Cameron McIntyre has already reached an international fanbase with his work as far away as Canada, New Zealand and the USA, and raised thousands of pounds for local charities. Next year the McIntyre Poetry & Art Awards will be sponsored by Titanic Quarter Ltd and the Ards Arts.
